Injection Molding Machines - Hydraulic System

Hydraulic systems in injection molding machines have evolved to the forefront in technology as hydraulics has done well in the industry in general.
The measurement accuracy, consistency and quality of plastic injection products made today are very high, due largely to technological advances made by major manufacturers of hydraulic equipment such as Eaton, Rexroth, Danfoss, Parker and others no less important.
Hydraulic technologies that are applied today among others are:
Flow and
pressure Proportional
servo valves that control variable displacement pumps and in many cases digital
control valves to achieve the flow and pressure supply accurately and in timely manner.
Position, pressure and RPM sensors with high speed data transmission coupled directly to the actuators to achieve adequate
control of movement thereof.
All this hydraulic technology coupled and integrated to PLC control using sophisticated technology like PID Loop to gain control of each of the sequential movements that have plastic injection machine has.
