Airpel non-stiction air cylinder actuators are available with non-contact GMR (Giant Magneto Restrictive) sensor technology for optimal accuracy in linear position feedback. Uniquely shaped, stainless steel piston is precisely fitted to borosilicate glass cylinder, creating true air bearing airflow effect around piston. This minimizes friction and promotes piston life. Available with PNP or NPN output, GMR sensors operate at 10-30 Vdc and exhibit less than or equal to 0.2 mm repeatability.
